Four Illinois State women’s basketball student-athletes were honored with 2021 All-Missouri Valley Conference recognitions Wednesday morning.

Senior JuJu Redmond earned All-MVC First Team honors during the 2020-21 season. The senior leads the Redbirds in scoring (13.6) and rebounding (6.2) on the year. Redmond ranks eighth and ninth in the MVC in those categories.

Redshirt sophomore Mary Crompton was given an All-MVC Honorable Mention. The redshirt sophomore was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team earlier this week. Crompton leads the Valley in three-point percentage shooting 46.4% from behind the arc and is seventh in the nation. She averages 11.2 points and 2.6 triples per game.

Junior Terrion Moore was named to both the All-Newcomer Team and the All-Defensive Team. Moore is averaging 11.1 points per game in her first year with the Redbirds and is ranked fourth in the league in steals, averaging 2.1 per game. Moore picked up two MVC Newcomer of the Week honors during the season.

Sophomore DeAnna Wilson was selected to the All-Newcomer Team. The sophomore is the reigning MVC Newcomer of the Week, earning the title for her performance at Loyola Chicago. Wilson averaged 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in the conference series win. In her first season at ISU, she averages 9.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
