* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast and northern Florida and southeast
Georgia.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender
vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold
temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are
especially vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them.

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Addtional accumulations of 6 to 12
inches possible in the most persistent lake snows across
Jefferson, Lewis, and Northern Cayuga counties. An additional 1-2
feet possible across Oswego County through Thursday.

* WHERE...Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake snows will continue to impact Jefferson
County through the evening, then move back southward across the
Tug Hill and into Oswego County where it will reside tonight with
the greatest impacts. Additional lake snows continue southeast of
the lake on Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
