Nice article published March 6, 2021 re: Francis Henson, (alias Frank Hanson).
Wish more had been said about Fredrick Stephens and James Ferguson (a Canadian who served the Union). Fredrick Stephens is one of three Veterans, interred at Brick Road, who served in the Mexican War. Fredrick Stephens also served in the Civil War.
In addition to the three veterans written about March 6, there are two more (so far) who never received headstones.
The SUVCW (Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War) will attend to that chore this year, as well as attempting to replace about 6 more headstones of Civil War Union vets, which are eroded from exposure to the elements. All in all, nice job. Thanks.
