The McLean County Health Department is reporting 51 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of probable and confirmed cases to 14,321.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the total number of COVID-19-related deaths to 165. 

MCHD reported that 230 individuals are currently isolating at home and 13,908 individuals are consider recovered and have been released from isolation.

McLean County reported 18 of its residents to be hospitalized with the virus. County hospitals are reporting 69% of intensive care unit beds in use and 89% of total beds in use. 

Over 233,200 tests have been conducted for a cumulative positivity rate of 6.1%. The rolling seven-day positivity through Thursday is 3.2%.

MCHD was notified that this week’s shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine are likely to be impacted by the severe winter weather affecting the nation.

Delays in the delivery may necessitate the canceling and rescheduling of appointments at local vaccine clinics.
