McLean County Health Department is reporting 12 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total of probable and confirmed cases to 13,646 cases.
Currently, 462 are in home isolation with 24 hospitalized. Local hospitals are reporting 62% of intensive care unit beds in use and 81% of total beds in use. McLean has had 146 COVID-19-related deaths.
There are 13,014 individuals recovered.
More than 211,500 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 6.4%. The rolling seven-day positivity rate is 4.7% through Jan. 27.
MCHD has begun vaccinating those in Phase 1B which includes non-health care frontline essential workers such as staff at daycares, grocery store employees, first responders, United States Postal Service workers, public transit workers and residents age 65 and over.
Those who qualify for the vaccine in Phase 1B must make an appointment through MCHD.
