Redbird Football plays their last scrimmage of the fall season Saturday morning. The Redbirds will begin competing in February.

Poor weather hit the Midwest in the last week forcing Illinois State football’s opening matchup to be delayed.

Set to be played Saturday Feb. 21, the Redbirds will instead play Missouri State on April 17 in Springfield, Missouri. The game was called off due to poor traveling conditions and poor field condition.

ISU will now open the season on Feb. 27 at home against South Dakota.
